Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)
ततः सर्वे नारदं विप्रसंघा: सम्पूजयामासुरतीव राजन् | राज्ञ: प्रीत्या धृतराष्ट्रस्य ते वै पुन: पुन: सम्प्रहशस्तदानीम्
tataḥ sarve nāradaṃ viprasaṅghāḥ sampūjayāmāsur atīva rājan | rājñaḥ prītyā dhṛtarāṣṭrasya te vai punaḥ punaḥ samprahaśas tadānīm, rājan |
Then all the assembled companies of Brahmins warmly honored Nārada, O King. And, seeing King Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s delight, they too repeatedly broke into joyful laughter and gladness at that time—O King.
