धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति व्यवहार-रक्षा-नियमनोपदेशः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Instruction on Administration, Punishment, and Daily Governance

विदुरस्य महातेजा दुर्योधनकृतं स्मरन्‌ । परंतु महातेजस्वी भीमसेनके हृदयमें उनके प्रति अमिट क्रोध जमा हुआ था। उन्हें दुर्योधनके अत्याचारोंका स्मरण हो आया, अतः उन्होंने विदुरजीकी बात नहीं स्वीकार की

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Vidurasya mahātejā Duryodhana-kṛtaṃ smaran; parantu mahātejasvī Bhīmasenasya hṛdaye teṣu prati amitaḥ krodhaḥ sañcitaḥ āsīt. Tasya Duryodhanasya atyācārāṇāṃ smṛtir ājagāma; ataḥ sa Viduravākyaṃ na pratijagrāha.

Vaiśampāyana said: Remembering what Duryodhana had done, the illustrious Vidura spoke; yet in the heart of the mighty Bhīmasena an unextinguishable anger toward them had accumulated. The memory of Duryodhana’s outrages rose before him, and therefore he did not accept Vidura’s counsel.
