Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
गंगोवाच जातरूप: स गर्भो वै तेजसा त्वमिवानघ । सुवर्णो विमलो दीप्त: पर्वतं चावभासयत्
gaṅgovāca jātarūpaḥ sa garbho vai tejasā tvam ivānagha | suvarṇo vimalaḥ dīptaḥ parvataṃ cāvabhāsayat ||
Ganga said: “That embryo is indeed of gold. O sinless one, in radiance it is just like you. Shining with a pure, golden brilliance, it illuminates the entire mountain.”
