उवाच ज्वलनं विप्र तदा गर्भबलोद्धता । ते न शक्तास्मि भगवंस्तेजसो5स्य विधारणे

Translation

Then the goddess Jāhnavī (Gaṅgā), overpowered by the strength of the womb, her limbs pervaded by blazing tejas and her senses nearly failing, trembling as though speaking to the very fire, said to Agni: “O Bhagavān, I am unable to bear this radiance of yours.”
