Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

देवा ऊचु प्रतीपया जिह्दयापि सर्वाहारं करिष्यथ | वाचं चोच्चारयिष्यध्वमुच्चैरव्यज्जिताक्षराम्
Translation
The gods said: “O elephants! Even with your backward-turning tongues you shall be able to take in every kind of food, and you shall be able to utter your voice aloud; yet from it no distinct syllable will be formed.”
