Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तस्य दर्शनमिष्टं वो यदि देवा विभावसो: । तत्रैवमधिगच्छध्वं कार्य वो यदि वल्लिना,“देवताओ! यदि आपको अग्निदेवका दर्शन अभीष्ट हो और यदि उनसे आपका कोई कार्य हो तो वहीं जाकर उनसे मिलिये
tasya darśanam iṣṭaṃ vo yadi devā vibhāvasaḥ | tatraivam adhigacchadhvaṃ kāryaṃ vo yadi vallinā ||
Bhīṣma said: “O gods, if you desire to behold Vibhāvasu (Agni), and if you have some business to accomplish with the bearer of the staff, then go there itself and meet him.”
