Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
इत्युक्त:ः स तदा तैस्तु ब्रह्मा लोकपितामह: । तथेत्येवाब्रवीत् प्रीतस्तेडपि जग्मुर्यथागतम्
ity uktaḥ sa tadā tais tu brahmā lokapitāmahaḥ | tathety evābravīt prītas te 'pi jagmur yathāgatam ||
Thus addressed by those deities, Brahmā—the grandsire and father of the worlds—was pleased and replied, “So be it.” Thereafter the gods departed, returning in the same manner as they had come.
