Maintain unwavering devotional remembrance—specifically, praising/reciting the sacred name associated with Gomātā—regardless of time or circumstance; such steady kīrtana is taught to dissolve fear and stabilize one’s dharmic resolve.
Bhīṣma is instructing (as a teacher of dharma) that in all situations—night/day, ease/distress, and even extreme danger—a person who continues kīrtana attains release from fear, presenting devotion as a protective discipline.
