Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ा भारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें पैंसठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
ity etad annadānasya tiladānasya caiva ha | bhūmidānasya ca phalaṁ godānasya ca kīrtitam ||
Bhīṣma said: “Thus have I declared the fruits of these gifts—food-giving, sesame-giving, land-giving, and cow-giving.” With this, the teaching on the dharma of charity in the Anuśāsana Parva concludes, affirming that each form of dāna, when rightly offered, yields distinct and praised spiritual results.
भीष्म उवाच
