अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
अथाब्रवीन्नूपो वाक््यं श्रमो नास्त्यावयोरिह । विश्रान्तौ च प्रभावात् ते ऊचतुस्तौ तु भार्गवम्
atha abravīn nūpaḥ vākyam—śramo nāsty āvayor iha | viśrāntau ca prabhāvāt te ūcatuḥ tau tu bhārgavam ||
Bhishma said: Then King Nūpa spoke these words to the Bhārgava (Chyavana): “Here, neither of us feels any fatigue at all. By your power we have come to experience complete rest and ease.” When the two had spoken thus, the blessed Chyavana, filled again with joy, replied that what he had said earlier would not prove futile, but would certainly be fulfilled.
