सम्प्राप्य तानि प्रीतात्मा गुरोवंचनकारक: । तदा जगाम तूर्ण च चम्पां चम्पकमालिनीम्‌

Transliteration

samprāpya tāni prītātmā gurovāñcanakārakaḥ | tadā jagāma tūrṇaṃ ca campāṃ campakamālinīm ||

Translation

Bhishma said: Having obtained those flowers, his heart filled with joy, and being one who would not deceive his teacher, he then set out at once for Champā, the city garlanded with champaka trees—eager to fulfill his guru’s command with integrity.
