भीष्म उवाच
This verse is a colophon rather than a new instruction: it frames the preceding material as a completed lesson within dāna-dharma (the ethics of giving), emphasizing that the Vipula episode functions as a didactic illustration of righteous generosity and conduct.
Bhīṣma’s discourse reaches a formal stopping point: the text announces that the Vipula-upākhyāna chapter has concluded within the Anuśāsana Parva’s section on charity.
