आहृय दयितं शिष्यं विपुलं प्राह भार्गवम्‌ । फिर उन महा तपस्वीने मन-ही-मन उसकी रक्षाका उपाय सोचकर अपने प्रिय शिष्य भगुवंशी विपुलको बुलाकर कहा--

Transliteration

āhṛya dayitaṃ śiṣyaṃ vipulaṃ prāha bhārgavam |

Translation

Bhīṣma said: Having summoned his beloved disciple Vipula, the Bhārgava addressed him. The great ascetic, reflecting inwardly on how to protect what was at stake, called his dear student and spoke—setting in motion a careful, dharma-guided safeguard rather than a rash response.
