Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters

दैवं वाप्यथवा पित्र्यं योडश्रीयाद ब्राह्मणादिषु । अस्नातो ब्राह्मणो राजंस्तस्याधर्मो गवानृतम्
Translation
Bhishma said: “O king, if a Brahmana eats at a devayajna or at a shraddha (rite for the ancestors) in the houses of Brahmanas and the other twice-born orders without first bathing, his adharma is held to be like the sin of swearing a false oath upon a cow.”
