धारयामास तस्याथ युयुत्सुश्छत्रमुत्तमम् । चामरव्यजने शुभ्रे भीमसेनार्जुनावुभी,उस समय युयुत्सुने उनके ऊपर उत्तम छत्र लगाया और भीमसेन तथा अर्जुन श्वेत चँवर एवं व्यजन डुलाने लगे
dhārayāmāsa tasyātha yuyutsuś chatram uttamam | cāmaravyajane śubhre bhīmasenārjunāv ubhau ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Then Yuyutsu held a splendid royal parasol over him, while Bhīmasena and Arjuna, both, waved bright white chowries and fans—ceremonial service that proclaimed reverence and dharma.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dharma is also expressed through rightful conduct and respectful service: honoring a worthy person with the emblems of sovereignty (parasol, chowries, fans) reflects humility, loyalty, and the ethical order that sustains society.
Yuyutsu ceremonially holds a royal parasol over the honored figure, while Bhīma and Arjuna wave white chowries and fans—an act of public veneration and formal attendance that signals acceptance of authority and reverence.
