भीष्म उवाच ईहमान: समारम्भान् यदि नासादयेद् धनम् । उग्र॑ तप: समारोहेन्न हानुप्तं प्ररोहति
Translation
Bhīṣma said: “My son, if a man, despite many efforts and many undertakings, still fails to obtain wealth, then he should take up fierce austerity; for without sowing the seed, no sprout will ever arise.”
