प्रत्यक्ष कारणं दृष्टवा हैतुका: प्राज्ञमानिन: । नास्तीत्येवं व्यवस्यन्ति सत्यं संशयमेव च
Those who pride themselves on wisdom, seeing only the cause that is directly perceived, decide: “What is not evident to the senses does not exist.” Thus, even when it is true, they still doubt its very existence.
