Mahabharata — Anushasana Parva, Shloka 47

तीर्थानां गुरवस्तीर्थ चोक्षाणां हृदयं शुचि । दर्शनानां परं ज्ञानं संतोष: परमं॑ सुखम्‌

“Among all tīrthas (holy places), the highest tīrtha is the teacher and the venerable elders. Among things that are pure, the heart is the most pure. Among philosophies and kinds of knowledge, the knowledge of the highest truth is supreme. And contentment (santoṣa) is the greatest happiness.”
