एवं व्युष्टिमहं प्राप्तो ब्राह्मणस्य प्रसादजाम् । यच्च मामाह भीष्मो<यं तत्सत्यं भरतर्षभ
evaṁ vyuṣṭim ahaṁ prāpto brāhmaṇasya prasādajām | yac ca mām āha bhīṣmo 'yaṁ tat satyaṁ bharatarṣabha ||
Thus I attained a splendid reward born of a brāhmaṇa’s gracious favor. And whatever this Bhīṣma says about me, O bull among the Bharatas, is entirely true.
