अकस्माच्च प्रहसति तथाकस्मात् प्ररोदिति । न चास्य वयसा तुल्य: पृथिव्यामभवत् तदा,वे अकस्मात् जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगते और अचानक फूट-फूटकर रो पड़ते थे। उस समय इस पृथ्वीपर उनका समवयस्क कोई नहीं था
akasmācca prahasati tathākasmāt praroditi | na cāsya vayasā tulyaḥ pṛthivyām abhavat tadā ||
Vāyu-deva said: “Without any apparent cause he would suddenly burst into laughter, and just as suddenly he would break into tears. At that time, on this earth, there was no one of his own age who could be considered his equal.”
