aṇḍajātaṃ tu brahmāṇaṃ kecid icchanty apaṇḍitāḥ | aṇḍād bhinnād babhūḥ śailā diśo 'mbhaḥ pṛthivī divam ||
Arjuna said: Some unlearned people assert that Brahmā was born from an egg. They claim that when the egg split open, mountains, the directions, the waters, the earth, and the heaven came into being.
