Arjuna said: “And you too have obtained—through the grace of the venerable sage Dattātreya—what is exceedingly hard to attain: a vast kingdom, strength, and likewise the learning of dharma and the sacred teachings. This shows that true prosperity and authority become ethically meaningful only when grounded in righteous knowledge and received through the blessing of realized teachers.”

Worldly attainments—kingdom and strength—are presented as truly rare and valuable when accompanied by dharma-knowledge, and all are attributed to the grace of a realized sage (Dattātreya), emphasizing humility, gratitude, and the ethical grounding of power.
Arjuna addresses the listener and acknowledges that the listener’s exceptional gains—sovereignty, power, and dharmic/scriptural learning—were made possible through Dattātreya’s favor, highlighting the role of spiritual patronage in righteous success.
