उदीर्ण: सर्वतश्नक्षुनीश: शाश्वतस्थिर: । भूशयो भूषणो भूतिर्विशोक: शोकनाशन:

Transliteration

udīrṇaḥ sarvataś-cakṣuḥ anīśaḥ śāśvata-sthiraḥ | bhūśayaḥ bhūṣaṇaḥ bhūtiḥ viśokaḥ śoka-nāśanaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma said: He is the Exalted One—seeing in all directions, subject to no other ruler, eternally steady and unchanging. He is the One who lay upon the earth; the One who adorns the world; the very ground of all prosperity and divine power; Himself free from sorrow, and the destroyer of sorrow for those who remember Him.
