Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes the religious and ethical value of kīrtana—devotional recitation of the Lord’s names—as a complete and auspicious act. It frames remembrance and praise of Keshava as a dharmic practice that culminates in reverent surrender (namaskāra).

Bhishma formally concludes the recitation of the thousand divine names of Keshava. The statement functions as a colophon: it signals that the sahasranāma has been fully delivered and closes the hymn with an auspicious, worshipful tone.
