Īśvara said: “From Yadu will arise a great-souled descendant named Kroṣṭā; and from Kroṣṭā, in turn, will be born a renowned son, Vṛjinīvān.” This prophetic genealogy affirms that noble qualities and strength are carried forward through righteous lineages, and that future leaders emerge in due course from established dynastic roots.
ईश्वर उवाच
The verse underscores the continuity of lineage and the idea that eminent figures arise in an ordered succession; it frames dynastic history as meaningful and providential, where greatness is anticipated and named as part of a larger moral-cosmic order.
Īśvara delivers a genealogical prophecy: from Yadu will be born Kroṣṭā, and from Kroṣṭā will be born Vṛjinīvān, marking successive generations within the Yādava line.
