शक्ररूपं स कृत्वा तु सर्वैर्देवगणैर्वृत: । सहस्राक्षस्तदा भूत्वा वज्रपाणिमहायशा:
Translation
Then, taking on the form of Śakra (Indra) and surrounded by all the hosts of the gods, he appeared. At that time he became the Thousand-Eyed one, of great renown, with the vajra shining in his hand.
