Skanda uvāca | tasya dharma-phalaṁ nityaṁ śraddadhānā nibodhata | sādhya rudrās tathādityā viśve devās tathāśvinau ||
Skanda said: “Listen with faith and attention to the everlasting fruit of that act of dharma. The Sādhyas, the Rudras, the Ādityas, the Viśvedevas, and the Aśvins too partake of it.”
स्कन्द उवाच
That a prescribed dharmic act (a ritual offering described in the surrounding passage) yields enduring merit, and that one should approach such instruction with śraddhā—trustful attentiveness—because the act is recognized and ‘received’ by multiple classes of deities.
Skanda is instructing the listener about the lasting fruit of a particular religious observance and emphasizes that major divine groups—Sādhyas, Rudras, Ādityas, Viśvedevas, and the Aśvins—are associated with accepting or validating the offering, thereby affirming its efficacy.
