Adhyāya 138: Vāyu’s Exempla on Brāhmaṇa-Prabhāva and a Cosmological Clarification
महाप्रभावा वरदा वरं दद्युरुपासिता: । ता गावोअस्यानुमन्यन्ते सर्वकर्मसु यत् फलम्
mahāprabhāvā varadā varaṁ dadyur upāsitāḥ | tā gāvo ’syānumanyante sarvakarmasu yat phalam ||
Maheśvara said: “Cows are of immense spiritual potency and are givers of boons. When they are revered and served, they grant the desired blessings. In all undertakings, whatever fruit a person seeks, those cows give their assent—bestowing favor so that the intended result is fulfilled.”
