Viśvāmitra said: “And further, those cows who abide in Viṣṇu’s station, and those who abide even on the path of Vibhāvasu (the Sun)—all the gods together with Nārada conferred upon them the name ‘Sarvasahā’ (‘All-enduring’).”
विश्वामित्र उवाच
Endurance in service of sustaining life is honored as a divine virtue: beings that ‘bear all’ and support others are worthy of reverence, and their beneficent role is framed as aligned with cosmic order (dharma).
Viśvāmitra describes how cows associated with exalted cosmic stations—Viṣṇu’s realm and the Sun’s course—were collectively given the epithet ‘Sarvasahā’ by the gods along with Nārada, marking them as supremely enduring and supportive.
