भूतानि चैव सर्वाणि अग्रत: पृष्ठतोडपि वा । उच्छिष्ट वापि चि्छिद्रेषु वर्जयन्ति तपोधना:
Translation
Those rich in ascetic power (tapodhana) avoid all bhūtas, whether they approach from before or from behind. In the same way, even in times of danger they always renounce what is impure—polluted leftovers (ucchiṣṭa) and anything tainted by cracks or unclean openings.
