बलदेव उवाच श्रूयतां परमं गुहां मानुषाणां सुखावहम्‌ । अजानन्तो यदबुधा: क्लिश्यन्ते भूतपीडिता:

Translation

Baladeva said: “Hear the supreme secret, the hidden teaching that brings happiness to humankind. Not knowing it, the foolish are afflicted by bhūtas and endure many kinds of suffering. That most confidential matter I shall now declare—listen.”
