वर्जयन्ति हि मांसानि मासश: पक्षशो5पि वा । तेषां हिंसानिवृत्तानां ब्रह्मतोको विधीयते
Translation
For indeed, some give up meat month by month, or even fortnight by fortnight. For those who have turned away from violence, attainment of Brahmaloka is ordained.
