भीष्म उवाच शृणु राजन् यथा गीतं स्वयमेव स्वयम्भुवा । यत् कृत्वा निर्वतों भूयात् पुरुषो नाज संशय:
Translation
Bhīṣma said: “Listen, O king, as I relate it just as Svayambhū himself—Lord Viṣṇu—has spoken. By performing that observance, a man becomes supremely happy; of this there is no doubt.”
