Aṅgiras said: “For fifty thousand years he rejoices in heaven.” He goes by a vimāna yoked to hamsas and sārasa birds, and there he enjoys the bliss of the heavenly world for fifty thousand years.
अंगियरा उवाच
The verse teaches karmic recompense: dharmic merit results in heavenly reward, expressed here as a long duration of joy in Svarga.
Aṅgiras is describing the फल (result) of a virtuous act: the beneficiary attains heaven and enjoys there for fifty thousand years.
