देवानभ्यर्चयच्चापि विधिवत् स सुरेश्वर: । सवनिव यथान्यायं यथापूर्वमरिंदम,शत्रुदमन! वे देवेश्वर नहुष विधिपूर्वक सभी देवताओंका पूर्ववत् यथोचितरूपसे पूजन किया करते थे
bhīṣma uvāca | devān abhyarcayac cāpi vidhivat sa sureśvaraḥ | savanīva yathānyāyaṃ yathāpūrvam ariṃdama śatrudamana |
Bhishma said: That lord of the gods duly worshipped the deities as prescribed—at the proper times and in the proper manner—just as had been done before. O subduer of foes, Nahusha, having become the ruler of the gods, continued the established rites with due order and reverence, upholding the customary discipline of sacred observance.
