उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

इतस्त्वमधमामन्यां मा योनि प्राप्स्यसे द्विज । गृह्मातां द्रविणं विप्र पूतात्मा भव सत्तम
Translation
“From this point onward, O twice-born Brahmin, let it not be that you fall into some other base womb. Therefore, O foremost vipra, take the wealth you require, and strive to purify your inner being—O highest Brahmin, crest-jewel among the righteous.”
