महाभिष-गङ्गा-दर्शनं वसूनां शापकथनं च

Mahābhiṣa Encounters Gaṅgā; The Vasus Explain Their Curse

तस्मादेतद्‌ वर्जनीयं नरेन्द्र दुष्ट लोके गर्हणीयं च कर्म । आखा्यात॑ ते पार्थिव सर्वमेव भूयश्वेदानीं वद कि ते वदामि,इसलिये नरेन्द्र! इस लोकमें जो दुष्ट और निन्दनीय कर्म हो उसको सर्वथा त्याग देना चाहिये। भूपाल! मैंने तुमसे सब कुछ कह दिया, बोलो, अब और तुम्हें क्या बताऊँ?

Translation

Therefore, O king of men, you must wholly abandon whatever deed is wicked and condemned in this world. O lord of the earth, I have told you everything; speak now—what more shall I tell you?
