नदीमाश्रमसम्बद्धां दृष्टवा55श्रमपदं तथा । चकाराभिप्रवेशाय मतिं स नृपतिस्तदा,उस मनोहर आश्रम और आश्रमसे सटी हुई नदीको देखकर राजाने उस समय उसमें प्रवेश करनेका विचार किया
nadīm āśrama-sambaddhāṃ dṛṣṭvā āśrama-padaṃ tathā | cakārābhipraveśāya matiṃ sa nṛpatis tadā ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Seeing the delightful hermitage-site and the river adjoining the āśrama, the king then resolved to enter it—moved by reverence for the sacred place and the wish to approach it in a fitting manner.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
A ruler should approach sacred spaces with deliberate intention and respect; the verse highlights mindful entry into an āśrama as an ethical posture—humility before dharma and the sanctity of ascetic life.
The narrator describes the king seeing a hermitage and the nearby river; impressed by the setting, he decides to enter the āśrama precinct.
