Educational Q&A

Even seemingly innocent curiosity can activate powerful forces; dharma then requires accountability, discretion, and ethical handling of the consequences of one’s actions—especially when sacred rites and divine powers are involved.

After being instructed (in context, by the power of a mantra/boon), the young maiden—still unmarried—decides out of curiosity to test it and therefore invokes the Sun-god (Arka/Sūrya).
