एवं दत्त्वा वर ताभ्यां सह देवैर्मरुत्पति: । हुताशनमनुज्ञाप्य जगाम त्रिदिवं प्रभु:,इस प्रकार दोनोंको वर देकर अग्निदेवकी आज्ञा ले देवताओंसहित देवराज भगवान् इन्द्र स्वर्गलोकको चले गये
evaṁ dattvā vara tābhyāṁ saha devair marutpatiḥ | hutāśanam anujñāpya jagāma tridivaṁ prabhuḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Having thus granted boons to the two, Indra—the lord of the Maruts—took leave of Hutāśana (Agni) in the company of the gods. With Agni’s permission obtained, the sovereign departed for Tridiva, heaven.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even supreme power is exercised within dharmic decorum: after granting boons, one properly seeks permission and departs respectfully, maintaining harmony among allies and authorities.
Indra, accompanied by the gods, grants boons to two recipients, then takes leave of Agni (Hutāśana) and returns to Tridiva (heaven).
