तवैव कर्म विहितं भूतं सर्व चराचरम् । त्वया55पो विहिता: पूर्व त्वयि सर्वमिदं जगत्
tavaiva karma vihitaṃ bhūtaṃ sarvaṃ carācaram | tvayāpo vihitāḥ pūrvaṃ tvayi sarvam idaṃ jagat |
Mandapāla declared to the Lord he addressed: the ordinance of karma and destiny is yours alone; from you arises all creation, moving and unmoving. In primordial time you first brought forth the waters, and in you the entire universe stands established.
मन्दपाल उवाच
That the moral and cosmic order—karma and the existence of all beings—is instituted by the supreme source; creation (including the primordial waters) originates from Him, and the universe ultimately rests in Him.
Mandapāla speaks in praise and acknowledgment of the supreme creator, attributing the origin of all beings and the establishment of karmic order to that divine principle, emphasizing dependence of the world upon Him.
