कृष्णपार्थो जिघांसन्तः प्रतीयुर्विविधायुधा: । रुद्र

Kṛṣṇa and Pārtha, intent on slaying, advanced bearing weapons of many kinds. Rudra, the Vasus, the mighty host of the Maruts, the Viśvedevas, and the Sādhyas shining with their own splendor—these and many other gods—took up diverse celestial weapons and moved toward Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna, the foremost of men, with the desire to kill them.
