वसिष्ठ उवाच
Even a ‘great-souled’ person can become morally dangerous when the mind turns wholly toward destruction; the verse highlights the ethical peril of totalizing intent (kārtsnyena) aimed at harm, implying the need for restraint and alignment with dharma rather than annihilative impulses.
Vasiṣṭha addresses Parāśara and describes a figure who has resolved to bring about the destruction of the worlds, emphasizing that his mind has become completely bent toward universal ruin.
