Pāṇḍu’s Marriages, Conquests, and Triumphal Return (पाण्डोर्विवाह-विजय-प्रत्यागमनम्)
सत्यमेतन्महाबाहो यथा वदसि भारत । विश्वासात् ते प्रवक्ष्यामि संतानाय कुलस्य न:
satyam etan mahābāho yathā vadasi bhārata | viśvāsāt te pravakṣyāmi santānāya kulasya naḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “It is true, O mighty-armed one; it is exactly as you say, O Bhārata. Because I trust you, I will tell you something—so that the lineage of our family may be preserved.”
