Shloka 29

शरभप्रादुर्भावो नाम षण्णवतितमोऽध्यायः (जलन्धरविमर्दनम्)

ऐरावतादयो नागाः क्षिप्ताः सिन्धुजलोपरि सरथो भगवानिन्द्रः क्षिप्तश् च शतयोजनम्

airāvatādayo nāgāḥ kṣiptāḥ sindhujalopari saratho bhagavānindraḥ kṣiptaś ca śatayojanam

Airāvata and the other mighty Nāgas were hurled upon the ocean’s waters. Even the blessed Indra, together with his chariot, was flung a hundred yojanas away—showing that when the Supreme Lord, Pati, sets the cosmic order in motion, all embodied powers (paśu) are overruled.

It underscores that even the highest celestial authorities are powerless without alignment to Pati (Shiva); Linga worship trains the paśu (individual soul) to surrender egoic power and seek refuge in the Lord who steadies the cosmos.
