उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

bhinnabhāṇḍe ca rathyāyāṃ patitānāṃ ca saṃnidhau śūdraśeṣaṃ na bhuñjīyāt sahānnaṃ śiśukairapi
One should not eat food (even if otherwise available) when it is placed in a broken vessel, in a public street, or in the proximity of those who have fallen from dharma. Likewise, one should not partake of the remnants of a Śūdra—nor eat together with such food, even in the company of children.
