Adhyaya 84: शिवव्रतकथनम्
Uma–Maheshvara Vrata, Shula-dana, and Month-wise Ekabhakta Vrata
ब्राह्मणान् भोजयित्वा च पूर्वोक्तमखिलं भवेत् कृत्वा भाद्रपदे मासि शोभनं शालिपर्वतम्
brāhmaṇān bhojayitvā ca pūrvoktamakhilaṃ bhavet kṛtvā bhādrapade māsi śobhanaṃ śāliparvatam
And after feeding the Brāhmaṇas, all that was enjoined before is thereby fulfilled. Then, in the month of Bhādrapada, one should fashion an auspicious “mountain of rice” (Śāli-parvata) as an offering—dharmic giving that supports Śiva-pūjā and loosens the pāśa (bondage) of the paśu (embodied soul).

It links Śiva-pūjā with dharmic completion through dāna—feeding Brāhmaṇas and offering a Śāli-parvata are presented as acts that perfect the previously prescribed worship and merit.
Śiva-tattva is implied as Pati, the Lord who is approached not only by mantra and arcana but also by sattvic charity; such giving helps the pashu move toward freedom from pasha under Śiva’s grace.
A dāna-centered pūjā-vidhi: feeding Brāhmaṇas and preparing the Śāli-parvata offering in Bhādrapada—an external dharmic support to inner Shaiva discipline (Pāśupata-oriented purification).
