Shivamurti–Pratishtha Phala: Shivalaya-Nirmana, Kshetra-Mahatmya, Tirtha-Snana, and Mandala-Vidhi

In proper ritual order, one should worship in the northern sector the five organs of action and also the organs of knowledge; and likewise offer worship in the six-angled division. Thus the senses are consecrated as offerings to Pati, Śiva, for the loosening of the pāśa (bondage) upon the paśu (soul).
Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva-puja vidhi to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It instructs that Linga-puja includes mandala-based worship of the indriyas (senses), symbolically surrendering them to Śiva so the paśu’s worldly drives become purified and fit for liberation.
Śiva is implied as Pati—the Lord who receives even the senses as offerings—showing that true worship is inner consecration where the powers that bind the soul are redirected toward the Supreme.
Directional/mandala worship (nyāsa-like placement) of karmendriyas and jñānendriyas, aligning with Pāśupata discipline of indriya-saṁyama (sense-restraint) as part of Linga-puja.
