चतुःषष्ट्यात्मतत्त्वाय पुनरष्टविधाय ते गुणाष्टकवृतायैव गुणिने निर्गुणाय ते

Transliteration

catuḥṣaṣṭyātmatattvāya punaraṣṭavidhāya te guṇāṣṭakavṛtāyaiva guṇine nirguṇāya te

Translation

Salutations to You, the Reality expressed as the sixty-four tattvas; again salutations to You who manifest in the eightfold mode. Salutations to You who are veiled by the eight guṇas, to You who are Lord of the guṇas, and to You who are beyond all guṇas—Śiva, the Pati who frees the paśu from pāśa.
