वसन्त्येते तु वै सूर्ये मास ऊर्ज इषे च ह हैमन्तिकौ तु द्वौ मासौ वसन्ति च दिवाकरे

Transliteration

vasantyete tu vai sūrye māsa ūrja iṣe ca ha haimantikau tu dvau māsau vasanti ca divākare

Translation

These months indeed abide in the Sun: Ūrja and Iṣa. Likewise, the two winter months also reside in the Day-maker, the Sun. By the Sun’s ordained course, time and season are sustained—revealing Pati, the Lord, as the inner regulator behind the cosmos’ measured order.
